Nappy features: side snaps, snap-in insert, stay dry layer, front pocket

Use the long insert alone for lighter use, or add the booster when you need extra absorbency.

  • Waterproof outer: breathable, leak-proof PUL that keeps bub dry and comfy.
  • Stay-dry inner: ultra-soft athletic wicking jersey that pulls moisture away from sensitive skin.
  • Bamboo inserts: 5-layer high GSM bamboo, double stitched, with no nasties.
  • Front pocket: inserts go in and out easily, so washing is a breeze.
Adjusting the side snaps on an Earthside Eco Bums nappy

Side snaps adjust the fit at the waist and legs as your baby grows. No fiddly rise snaps.

How to fit it

How many nappies do I need?
Around 20 for full-time cloth, 15 for part-time. Our bundles have everything sorted, or Sara can tailor a pack to your needs.

Will it fit my newborn?
From approx. 2.5kg. Newborns need a special fold, watch our newborn fold video or check the Cloth Nappy Guide.

Do I need to wash them before using?
Yes, give your nappies a wash before the first use. Our tip: soak the inserts in a bucket overnight and wash as normal the next day. This helps activate the bamboo fibres, which reach full absorbency after about 2 weeks of use.

How do I wash them?
Rinse, dry pail, then a long warm wash every 2 to 3 days. Full wash routine.
