How do I wash them?
Roll solids into the toilet, rinse the nappy in the sink, and add it to a dry pail. Run a quick pre-rinse daily, then a main wash every two or three days. Inserts go on your longest cycle under 60°C with a full dose of detergent. Wash covers separately at no more than 40°C to protect the PUL and elastics.
Line dry covers always, since dryers damage the waterproof layer. Inserts can be line dried or tumble dried.
No fabric softener, no soap, no fragranced detergent. They leave residue that makes nappies repel liquid.

How many do I need?
A full time stash is around 25 to 30 nappies. That covers you between washes without running short, and the same stash works for your second and third child.
